The Top Asia Corporate Ball 2018 organized by Top 10 of Indonesia and Top 10 of Asia Initiative (a Kuala Lumpur based research and media organization) played host to some 300 distinguished CEOs, business owners and personalities from across Indonesia and Asia.
The Corporate Ball was a culmination of the Initiative’s celebration of the achievements of towering personalities, corporations and even countries in Asia. The event saw the presentation of recognitions to outstanding and inspiring achievers from diverse cultures, industries and personalities. Top 10 unveiled the best of the best which showcased inspiring stories of achievements that help to spur many others on to strive for success in their own field of endeavor.
During the Corporate Ball, three countries were given recognitions based on the results of recent Top 10 surveys for the categories of: Asia’s Best Nation for Foodies (Malaysia), Asia’s Top Nation for Cultural Diversity (Indonesia) and Asia’s Nation with Best Holiday Beaches (Thailand). Results of the other country surveys include Japan – Asia’s Most Scientifically Innovative Nation, India – Asia’s Top Nation for Exquisite Textiles, Singapore – Asia’s Best Nation for Education, Laos – Asia’s Fastest Growing Nation for Manufacturing, Vietnam – Asia’s Top Nation with Unique Natural Wonders, Hong Kong – Asia’s Top Nation for Producing Critically-Acclaimed Movies and Cambodia – Asia’s Top Nation With Historical Wonders.
Among the entertainers who received recognitions during the Ball were Ruth Sahanaya – Asia Music Legend Award, Fatin Syidqia – Indonesia Music Icon Award, Afgan – Asia’s Young Music Icon Award, Reza Rahadian – Asia Film Award and Dion Wiyoko – Top 10 of Indonesia (Best Actor). Others include Zee Avi from Malaysia (International Young Artist Award), Sekar Sari (Indonesia’s Young Iconic Actress Award), Nur Fazura (Malaysia’s Leading Actress Award) and Sabrina Orial from Philippines (Asia’s Young Music Icon Award – Female).
There were also three Indonesian individuals who bagged the highest business recognitions and they are Eddy Ganefo (Kadin Indonesia President), Poppy Dharsono (fashion entrepreneur) and Hendi Setiono (Young Asian Entrepreneur).
Present at the star-studded dinner event were Dato’ R. Rajendran, CEO of RHA Media, Lee Seng Chee, Managing Editor of the publications and representatives from various business communities and chambers including Kadin Indonesia.
CEO of RHA Media, Dato’ Rajendran, who said that the rankings by Top 10 publications unveil the best of the best which will inevitably showcase inspiring stories of achievements that encourage others to strive for success in their own field of endeavor. “Today, inspiring good role models from around the Asian region are needed more than ever before in every arena of life and I believe that the likes of them should be made known far and wide. The very essence of Asian life and its awesome magnificence in all its diversity ought to be highlighted much.”
