The Singapore Council of Women’s Organisations (SCWO) in 2014, the Hall of Fame recognises women whose achievements have made lasting contributions to Singapore’s development and society. This annual award has recognised 198 pioneering women who have shaped Singapore’s society since 2014 to 2025. The 2026 inductees are Angelene Chan, Maud Ethel Perera (posthumous), Meira Chand, Pauline Tan and Shalini Arulanandam, whose contributions span architecture, public health, literature, nursing, and military medicine.
Beyond celebrating achievement, the Gala supports SCWO’s continued work in empowering women and strengthening families, including Maintenance Support Central (MSC), which marks its 15th anniversary this year. The programme provides support to women facing financial abuse and maintenance challenges, helping them rebuild stability and move forward with confidence. Among the distinguished guests include Dr Seow Yian San, President of SCWO.
