The brainchild of Chua Kai Ning, Phua Jun Wei and Ronen Arielly, Insectta is a pioneering biotech company based in Singapore, developing proprietary technology to extract high-value biomaterials from the black soldier fly. Their innovative process transforms these insects into sustainable resources such as chitosan and melanin, used in biomedicine, cosmetics and organic electronics. Designed for long-duration energy storage, these batteries offer a 25-year lifespan, making them one of the safest and most environmentally friendly options available. Incubated at Nanyang Technological University’s CleanTech lab, VFlowTech benefits from cutting-edge intellectual property developed through years of intensive research. Their innovative batteries address key industry challenges, including performance degradation, thermal runaway and reliability concerns. BeeX Autonomous Systems

BeeX is a deep-tech spin-off from the National University of Singapore (NUS) that designs and manufactures advanced Hovering Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (HAUVs).
